Best Freinds: Guys and Girls

What you say, is this true. Can a guy be a best friend of a girl. Can they be their best friends. Looking at the Indian mindset, no, they can't, but looking at the west, yes they are. As Indians believe that a girl can't be a guys friend, if they share such relation then there must be something else between them rather than friendship. Is I am wrong, mey be but looking at the Indian Cinema and the small screen, I am right as in evry serial or a movie its always screened that if a girl and a guy are best friend of each other then the relation between them may turn out to be more than friendship at the end. At the end of the bollywood movies the actor and actress who are best freind of each other in the whole movie are turn out to be great lovers. May be this is because of our mind set. There was a movie named "De Taali", in which Ayesha Takia playing a role of a girl who is best friend of a guy. role played by Aftab Shivdasani, in the begining of the movie. And at the end of the movie they get married to each other. Strange, so its true that according to Indian mind set a guy and a girl can't be just good friends.
