Exciting opportunity to work in a startup : Job Description of a Software Engineer – UI in Delhi

This is an exciting opportunity to work for an early stage web product startup based in Gurgaon. The
product is disruptive, and has global clientele. The company is backed by some of the best known
people of global fame.

We are looking for a talented, smart and bright individual who could champion our UI development
requirements. The job would entail – development and implementation of UI components of our web
based platform. Ours is a high energy work environment. The successful candidate can expect to both
personally and professionally learn from the experience. The details of the position are mentioned
below.

Responsibilities:

• UI implementation of a large and complex dynamic web application environment

• Own UI layer & responsible for performance &smooth interaction of user interface

Compensation:

• Above market rate

• Stocks

Location: Gurgaon, India

Education qualification desired:

B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA/Graduate (with professional degree) from a reputed institute. The candidate
should be a quick thinker and should have a track record of developing UI of a high performance
product/ feature. Additionally, the candidate should be innovative, dedicated and result oriented.

Desirable experience:

• 2-3 years (ideal) of experience of web based UI development

• Deep knowledge of Photoshop, HTML, Dreamweaver, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, Flash/
Silverlight, Ajax for client side web development

• Knowledge of following would be of an additional advantage – JQuery, SEO, Microsoft
Technologies, knowledge in ASP.NET for creating Web 2.0 application that facilitates
interactive information sharing, User-Centered designs

• Good understanding of UI design patterns (web form, window form (added advantage))
and best practices

• Willing to work in start-up environment
