Process Brief

Financial data analysis in areas of Fixed Income/Equity portfolio attribution which

includes financial data sourcing, analysis, processing, calculations requiring good

analytical, database management, financial and project management skills.

Key Accountabllities

Excellent communication skills:

The TM must think, speak and write clearly. Particularly because of geographical

and time differences, frequent detailed explanations may be difficult. He will

need to understand written requests, ask meaningful questions and provide clear,

Concise status reports. Strong interpersonal skills desired.

Dynamic, can-do personality: The person is expected to handle dynamic queries

which require quick learning ability and a can do personality.

Specific knowledge required

3 years of SQL work experience in finance domain: Advance SQL knowledge and

writing skills required. Advance level excel skills with macro would be an added

advantage.

Work experience in the finance industry including knowledge of market data such as

securities and benchmarks. Knowledge on various equity/fixed income instruments,

capital markets data especially on market indices and portfolio management

concepts are important.

The problem solving skills are required for this role as it includes return calculations

and handling complex requests on performance attribution analysis.

Position Summary

Our systems are diverse, complex and detail oriented. Moreover, the quantity and

types of services we provide continues to expand. Our work is dynamic, constantly

changing as market conditions, client requirement change. It is often difficult to

describe in simplistic steps or brief summaries. The TM must be able to accept

assignments without complete written instructions and possess the initiative and

capacity to complete such assignments on time.

Attention to detail & logical thinking.

Problem solving skills & multitasking.

Ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines.

Proven experience in interacting directly with end users.

Demonstrable evidence of analyzing and documenting complex business

Processes.
