Here is the job description:

Software Test Development Manager

As a Software Test Development Manager at Synygy, you will work with and report to the Vice President, Software Development to manage the software quality and testing process, which will include managing functional and automation testing. You will work closely with the Software Test Development team in US & Romania to coordinate test plans and product releases.

Responsibilities:

You will have direct responsibility for and provide leadership to the following functions:

·          Develop and manage internal processes and test strategies for functional testing, system integration testing, performance testing, stress testing, configuration testing, test collateral management and test automation

·          Develop and implement project test plans based upon business and technical requirements/specifications

·          Manage the day-to-day activities and tasks of a project testing team - this includes project scheduling, resource planning and results analysis/reporting

·          Work closely with your Software Development counterparts to create feature testing plans and test features.

·          Define and utilize quality metrics for analysis and evaluation of critical tasks, progress and compliance

·          Enforce quality assurance policies and procedures

 

·          Manage, mentor and train junior members of the software testing team on internal and industry standard processes

Prerequisites:

The Software Test Development Manager must have:

 

·          Minimum of 7 years experience in software testing & QA

·          Minimum of 2 years experience managing the quality assurance for an enterprise web-based software product

·          Proven experience providing leadership and vision to a global team

·          Experience with software process improvement

·          Experience with product specification and requirements traceability

·          Experience developing, documenting, managing, and executing test plans

·          Knowledge of standard testing techniques and quality processes

·          Ability to train and mentor team members on new and existing processes/technologies

·          Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server or like relational database systems

·          Knowledge of Web & App servers such as Glassfish, Tomcat, Apache and IIS

·          Experience with HP/Mercury test management and automation tools

·          Excellent problem solving abilities, detail orientation, and diagnostic abilities

·          Superior oral and written communications skills

·          Preferred Degrees: BE/MCM/MCA

This is what China was looking for since 1962 war.
