Some people think of Teen Love and smile. It's not real love, they say. Puppy Love, they call it. Those people, I think, have very short memories, and no longer recall the realities of their first love experiences. While few expect teen love to last a lifetime, that hardly makes it less real. Half or more of all adult love doesn't last a lifetime either.
Teen love is very real. And powerful. Perhaps at no other time in our lives are the joys and pains felt as strongly, or experienced more deeply. Who among us, after all, can ever forget our first love?
One of the most prominent reason for this is that we can easily relate our teenage love to actual love if we remember, and after remembering those things we laugh on them. But the love we call in adult life, is more or less a kind of attraction. Most of the people in adult age are only interested in sparing some bed time with their partner. Most of these people hardly bother about remembering their partner.
But it cannot be said that all people in adult age look for only sex. It might be possible that people in their adult age also look for the actual love and affection. And they remember that for lifetime if they found one.
But you yourself ask yourself, how many time you think about your teenage partner and how many times you remember your adult age partners. It might be possible that you may remember your adult age partner, but the frequency will be less and the affection will also be less.
This might be also the reason people hardly get time in adult age to find the great partner.
