The Internet usage in India is increasing day by day. Number of Internet users increasing rapidly throughtout the world, so as in India. But still the Indians are lacking in this because of the population India had. Google now aims to educate Indians about power of Internet with its 'Internet Bus'. This Idea itself a great thought. It might be a business strategy of Google, but its worthy for the Indians. The campaign already started. Hope Google keep on doing such activities in the rest of the India too. The Internet-enabled bus will focus on the four themes - education, information, communication, and entertainment. It will be loaded with useful and informative content in English and Tamil. Google said it will showcase how the Internet can make everyday life simple through services like search, email, social networking, maps and others. Right now Google targeted the South India, IT hub of India. Visit Internet Bus Project website for the latest about the same. Here is the sc...

India’s $10 Laptop

What you get for Rs.500 are the following: 2GB of storage memory, WiFi connectivity, Ethernet port(s) and USB connectivity. The "Sakshat" measures 10"x5" and will be priced at $10 even though the manufacturing costs had reached almost $30. But then, thanks to a considerable cost cutting endeavor, the cost was finally bought down to $10. As the device appeared smaller than the normal laptop with 10-inch length and five-inch width, buzz got around that it was a ``Nano-top'' and not a laptop. But MHRD official brought the curtains down on all the hungama, saying it was just a computing device with 2GB memory. Proving that if something sounds too good to be true that it probably is, India’s so-called $20 laptop is not really a laptop at all. Called the Sakshat (which means “before your eyes”), the device was revealed on the third to a lot of fanfare worldwide on the 3rd, along with some well-deserved skepticism. The laptop, jointly developed by several organisat...

HIV Facts

There are many myths existing in the society. Many of the people are aware of these myths, but related to HIV still people are confused. So, I am sharing some most common myths related to the same. HIV can never survive in any other liquid* medium also other than blood or semen (& please for God sake .... never in Pani Puri wala pani ). Even if one drinks an HIV infected blood (or semen) of someone (ingest through Gastro Intestinal track), the virus can not survive in the acidic pH of stomach*. Highest extent of acidity is 0 (practically not possible) so imagine 1 as pH which is in our stomach. (This pH can burn your own finger in less than a second if you dip in that acid). Exposure of less than 1 second in AIR KILLS the HIV virus* (hence story of needle pricks in Cinema theatres is a crap). Even if blood from a wound (of infected person) dries up (*blood clot*), *the virus dies*and can not infect anyone else. HIV transmission is *ONLY* an *INFECTION* i.e. entrance of virus i...
