Dark Green Monday

I am hoping for a dark green Monday. Well ! After a resilient nifty close above the sup of 4820 gave an impression of a "game-changer" ! with a more broad based participation now with Banks taking charge from were RIL left, the rally has been truly broad based n nifty looks poised to resume its uptrend unless I'm overseeing something big. Both the pre-requisites r present Lack of negative sentiments. Loads of liquidity ! With a sl of 4790 I think it will pay to be long for a minimum upside of 4860, after which the previous high of 4889 will again come into play.....most of the global players have confirmed a Nifty break out then I wonder y nifty cannot break the barrier n probably hit that 4950 mark ! May be I'm sounding too optimistic ! But not impossible certainly ! Considering the fact that Realty & Cement ( DLF to a great extent which is off >25 % from 52 week high , n to a lesser extent JP and ACC well below the peak ) & Power ( NTPC & ...

Views may Differ from person to person on Share market Trends

Dear readers, I am here, to share my views which may differ from each, but everyone knows that market is uncertain and it may or may not bring the same results you have expected. But I also provide the genuine links before I make anything. Please take a note of this, if you found something suspicious here, please report. I will reply that as soon as possible. I was a newbie in may when I suffer losses because of less market study, I stopped trading, and come back strongly after doing some research. Still I say, don't fully believe and decide, please make your own mind before investing. Its all about market risk. Thanks Pradeep Kumar

Markets : I am not able to understand this one

I purchased some shares of India Foils Ltd. early morning today, and off to office. I was very sure about its rise in share prices of this share. At 2pm, I am some how able get free from office work and able to login into my Dmat account, I noticed that their was upper circuit on India Foils Ltd. I was happy at that time. And I left that as it is. Now, when I came back from office, I was checking the updates for the sahre which I brought up, and certainly I found this. Check the above picture. Look at the above picture, is it possible for a share, that after the upper cicuit hit, is it reopenable in the very same day. Thank God the share recovered, otherwise, I have to suffer huge losses.

Markets after Budget 2009

While the markets have risen on the back of expectations, a lot will depend on the pace of reforms and demand revival. Last Monday’s market gains of 17.34 per cent or 2,111 points on the BSE Sensex are not just historically significant due to the quantum, but it also signals the elimination of key political uncertainties surrounding India’s long-term growth story. The clear mandate to the Congress-led UPA government suggests that it will now be able to undertake reforms in an unhindered manner, including some of the hard decisions it failed to implement due to the opposition from the Left. Also, the Congress party now seems to have an improved its bargaining power with allies, which will provide stability as well as flexibility in decision making. The election outcome also suggests that voters have largely preferred those that are perceived to be effective administrators. The cases of Delhi, Gujarat and Bihar are examples pointing to this trend. This in turn, indicates that the UPA wil...

Do Your Homework

Having a trading routine is essential. It doesn’t even have to include a lot of steps, just as long as you have a routine in place which allows you to gauge market strength or weakness and formulate some trading ideas to capitalize on your market view. Doing your homework for the trading day doesn’t make you a nerd.Doing my homework includes screening for chart patterns, staying aware of scheduled news events (Board meetings, earnings, economic releases, etc.), and monitoring my trading performance in case my trading strategy needs an adjustment. Staying on top of these things gives me a game plan for my trading each day. I get a feel for the market by seeing how many stocks or sectors are strong, weak, or just flat. It lets me feel prepared, knowing that I’m starting the day with more confidence than had I just walked into my office and started buying and selling stocks randomly. While I cannot predict what the market will do, I can certainly outline a plan of trading actions to imple...

Every Indian who is a bit interested in share trading and track the markets, he or she will surely keep a track of American and European markets. Being the big daddy's of the market it's obvious that the other markets of the world are dominated by them. Any change in those market will surely effect the other markets of the world. And that's why the people are uncertain about the Indian market after some change in the US market. Most of the time when US market rise, the probability of Indian markets to rise increases, and people put their money in the markets enthusiastically. Let me tell you one thing, this was the time when the Indian markets are affected so much by US and European markets, now the Indian market is becoming day by day very stable one, and the world realised this and started putting their money in Indian markets. New budget and market may rise

Human beings are suckers for stories. You, me, everybody. We need stories to make a decision and stories to not make a decision as well. If there is no story, we create stories in our mind to justify a decision. So much so, in the rare case that a decision is made without there being a story, we rush to create a story to justify it. As the share markets rises after the election results, and that too greatly which created history in Indian share markets, before that Indian Share markets never witness the upper circuit, but the very same day, the same was witness by the investors and the share markets twice. As the people who are closely related to the share market, or call the big fish in the share market have confidence in congress policies or say, that they have faith in the great economist Manmohan Singh, our Prime Minister, and why not, he is one of the fine leader and a great economist too. Even I do support him as a Prime Minister, but if he work as a Finance Minister, it will be ...

My first day in share market

My first day in Stock Market and stock Market crashes down and that too badly by 455 points. this means my first day experience in the shares is very sad. I dint expected this at all, but I have an idea about this as over the weekend, market men would keenly eye the US government decisions to tackle the blown-out sub-prime credit crisis. If the US rescue plan goes through, market may witness a pull-back rally. But it won’t change the trend, it may only delay the fall. Also after the election results the markets are rising, but none of the investors are very much sure about the market. This becomes a trend that when market rise so much most of the investors withdraw their money for profit booking. and I guess this is right too for the small investors to don't wait for the big fish to pull out, as when they pull out, you are left with nothing. So its a good idea to withdraw the invested money from the market when markets grow a bit and more than expected. I must say that my first day...

A rehearshal before investing

The stock market has, perhaps, the most exciting investment opportunities for the investor community. At the same time, it could be unnerving and scary. Before investing into anything one must complete his homework. Once you are done then wait for a chance to invest in the market. Suppose you are investing in some company, and the companies shares are too high, as you find out from your homework that this company will give profit. But if the shares all already higher than how could you expect for better returns. Everyone says that when market is high we will invest in shares, as doing intra day trading is risky. However some experts say that when market is going high investment is not that safe as it don’t make any point blocking your money when BSE and NSE are already zooming high. Wait for correction to come and then buy at lower price. Till the time stick to intra day stock trading. As most of the investors withdraw their money at the end of the day because of profit booking. Everyo...

My Stocks Initiation

For the first time I am entering into stock, i.e. stock market of India BSE and NSE. Many of mine friends suggested me that do a proper reading before investing into stocks. So For the same I started this blog to track all the companies in which I'll be interested. I'll track all the companies which I list here. I'll track their daily proceedings throughout the day, and analyze my results in weekends. All readers are free to suggest me anyway they like. Hope this will help me out a lot. My friends say that one can make a lot of money from share market, just he or she have to research on the shares on which he is investing. Lot of people invest in stocks without studying anything about the company they are investing and loose big amount of money and after that they blame the markets. Stocks are same as gambling, the only difference is, if you do a bit homework in stocks you'll always in a winning situation. I don't say that one will always gain after doing homework, ...
