Friday the 13th

Once again we must prepare ourselves for the dreaded Friday the thirteenth! Are you taking any chances on this day of fright and fear? If so, you are clearly not superstitious, nor do you suffer from the pathological fear of Friday 13. As, in 2009 we have three Friday 13, February, March and November. In 2007, 13th April, Friday we met an accident and a serious one, three of our friends injured badly when we are coming back from Khadakvasla Lake after some sort of party. Till that I hardly believed on the Friday 13th impact. But from then I had something in my mind about that day. So a lot of people think Friday 13 is an unlucky day,so as me after that day, but why? To answer this, there are few questions we must first ask ourselves about the luck of Friday the thirteenth: Why Friday? And why the thirteenth? Most important of all, is it really unlucky? Or Just a phobia? Also when you read about the history of Friday 13th, there were few incident that tell you about ...

Western Mindset about India

Still people not going to agree with me on this. Because many of us still feel that we are poor and film-maker showing only that. After some big names already in news for for the same that they don't want the Image of India shown like that. Even I am not agree with what shown in Slumdog is real Image of India. Anyways this is not a point of discussion at this time. I am just want to say that, whatever we show them, they think the very same way, and when we are showing the reality of India, according to them then they see it with a big smile on their face. Three four days back, I created a post regarding the very same issue. Today while watching the traffic, I was shocked to see some of the queries for what the people entered my blog through search engines. Anyways, I still believe that west still thinks that we are a poor country and they love to see like that. Have a look at those queries. 1. The query fired from USA : " slum dog millionaire shows the real india ". 2. Th...

Is poverty is the face of India abroad?

I'm never going to agree with this. And why people think like that, as all are well aware of the fact the out of 10 richest 4 are Indians. Well, so this is clear that most richest and some poor lives together only in India. But the western people thinks that they are richer than us. Also people might be aware of the fact that India is the richest country on the earth before the invasion of the British. And sooner we will be going to achieve this position soon. But did anyone of them really concern that why people abroad think this way. I guess the number is too less. Now a days 'India bashing' became a lucrative and attractive business , be it slum dog or Booker winner 'white tiger'. It really shows cheap and sick imperial mentality of western countries and their jealousy towards emerging India. When people come to India, what they respect most is the "modesty" of the people here.Even in documentaries, they try to focus on the slums, even if the...
Why we used to point out others things more often and hardly cares about what we are doing. Its really a serious matter, we all hardly cares about ourselves, and used to point out others things more often. We are more concerned what others are doing specially our neighbours, he is doing this and all, why don't we have anything left to think about ourselves. We hardly do anything on our own and point out others whether they are doing good or bad. it hardly matter, we don't even think on this. I believe people do this because you can easily noticed when you point out someone on some issue, and what if, if you are doing a good thing and hardly noticed by someone. It hurts most of the people because nobody do anything for their own satisfaction, everyone wants that their work and doings most be praised and noticed by someone. And that we are doing, Check this neighbours also. A young couple moves into a new neighborhood. The next morning, while they are eating breakfast, the young ...

Illegal Migrants in India

A Pakistani, Bangladeshi and OUR Sardar are in a bar one night having a beer. The Pakistani drinks his beer and suddenly throws his glass in the air, pulls out a gun and shoots the glass to pieces. He says 'In Islamabad our glasses are so cheap that we don't need to drink from the same one Twice .' The Bangladeshi [obviously impressed by this] drinks his beer, throws his glass into the air, pulls out his gun and shoots the glass to pieces. He says 'In Dhaka we have so much sand to make the glasses that we don't need to drink out of the same glass twice either.' OUR Sardar , cool as a cucumber, picks up his beer and drinks it, throws his glass into the air, pulls out his gun and shoots the Pakistani and Bangladeshi. He says 'In India we have so many Pakistanis and Bangladeshi that we don't need to drink with the same ones twice.' The above joke is not just a simple joke, as the number of illegal migrants to India from its neighbouring countries keep...

Global Financial Meltdown

Do you think that recession is going to be over now. So dear friends you are wrong, this is just the start, the Zimbabwe thing alerts us, but noone cares about that time, stilla very less are concerned about this. No problems at all, soon you need not to worry about this, because nothing would be left to get worried about. Today India's Sensex closed below 10,000, so its jus a begining, recession is coming. So, better take precautions, otherwise things will be more worse than one expected. Recession is coming... make your own judgment, don't panic! Do what is wise. The recession looks very eminent. It is really time to take pro active steps to avoid a painful time in the next two years which is how long the is expected to last. Suggestions: 1. Don't take any loans; buy homes, properties with loans, or even cash. Keep as much cash as possible. 2. Pay off as much of personal loans, private loans, as debt collection will be hastened. 3. Sell any stocks you can even at lower pr...

Lying is an art

Lying seems to be a big problem. People used to lie and say they lied for a good cause. I seriously thinks one need not to lie for a good cause so oftenly. One hardly get chance to lie for a good cause so often. I messed up with a guy discussing on this issue yesterday. There are people who believes that they got a talent to fool people by lying as they got an art of lying.Do you really thinks the same, that lying is an art. Let me tell you something before you conclude something. Just think a bit and try to answer yourself. How many times you lied for a good cause, your answer to this question may be yes every time or most of the times, but did you noticed how many peoples are affected because of the same thing. May be that thing is good for you and the friends near you but may be bad or worse for some people, then how can you say that you lied for a good cause? Think a bit on this. People who thinks that lying is an art, so I don't think the same. Lying can't be an art. They ...

India Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow

As I love to read posts on orkut, I come acrss a great post in some community. Sharing with you go through this and send me your opinions on this. India did not qualify for hockey (our national game) in Beijing Olympics ---- Still our government doesn't really care, actually nobody cares. No funds available for our national game. SRK made movies like Chak De India, to promote Hockey…….same song is used everywhere to promote cricket. Times of India publishes an American winning gold in Olympics……the same paper publishes India winning hockey in the last page. Cricket is our religion ------ Today everyone has lost interest in this religion. Everywhere it's raining…..its floods….. Mumbai faces this every year…..every year people die……still it's the same every year…..and Mumbai is back to its normal life within hours…. Life has lost its value. Bomb blast has become very common --- No one cares except for the families who have lost their loved ones. My friend got 98 percentile in...

An economic fact.

Let us have some facts. India had 25% of global income in 1500 through 1700; by 1820, this was down to 17% and by 1951 to 5%; in 1998, the country’s share stood at 5.5% (according to Angus Maddison in The World Economy: A millennial Perspective, OECD Development Centre Studies -2007; Table-B-20 Appendix B; pp263). We need to reclaim our position in the world — it is just returning to where we were. By 2025, we should have at least 25% of global GDP. This requires strategic thinking and a new mindset. We are not going to be easily accepted as a global power. There is going to be a tussle between existing powers, declining powers and emerging powers. Nobody is going to offer the seat in the top table to us by request or by supplication. We need to earn it and be in a position to demand it. We need national purpose and a single minded devotion to achieve it.

Another blast in Delhi.

Now its common for us, its seems to be a part of our daily routine now. If such thing would nothappen with in a months time then its very uncommon to heard. What the intelligence is doing, might be enjoying these blasts, one after another. Wow, the India becomes a hub for those daily blasts n live bombs, If this goes on, seriously its not too far that every citizen is afraid of all such sort of things. These terrorist want to create that terror only, they just have this moto, and as of now I guess they are able to succeed in that. With those serial blast all over the country from the first one that hit Jaipur City few months back and till now showed unhappy moments, but the government and the intelligence agencies are still sleeping. And about politicians, wow, what a comedy. After every such incident they come out of their sheds and speak some nonsense in the press which seems to be irrelevant at that point. And tp add more on that, the opposition leaders start critisizing the governm...

Can u believe this!

There are few people outside do far more better job than us and still glad about their job. This guy here is a Coolie (Luggage carrier) at bus station Bangalore, Kalasyapalya bus stop (City market) who usually carry luggage to/from the bus. As per one of my friend's advice, we understand that of late Volvo busses carry 2 wheelers as well from place to another (Interesting na?). Please try out next time. Please take few seconds to think how they carry 2 wheelers to the bus? Most of the times they carry it in the box located under the bus…and if the box is full some times they carry the vehicle to top of the bus. It is story of the person who used to work, but let me tell you some of the facts about that work: Weight of the Pulsar 150 CC is around 200 kg The cost of the Volvo side glass is about 30000 The cost of the vehicle…?? After seeing the above effort that he has made do you guys know how much is he charging?? Just Rs.20/ i.e. $0.5/

Impact of divide and rule

As I heard from my ancestors, also read some articles reagrding this either in newspapers or in magzines, all says that there was a time when Hindus and Muslims lived together happily. But the British policy of 'Divide and Rule' had a great impact on this Indian society, even one could easily sense this till today. The British used their policy in every county to rule them. But the effect may not be seen in those countries till today. But, as far as India is concerned, its a different case. Already a nation divided in three different parts, and all based on religious issues. 1947 partision is based on the religion. A communal violence across the India happened on the eve of independence in 1947. Not only the day of India's Independence, but each day there is either a small or a big news about such things flashes on television screens, or printed in black letters. What happened to the people of India, as more than 70% of the Indian people are literate, then also they don...

Crazy Canadian Girl

Today while I was surfing on internet, I saw a picture that make me think on some issues. Before I move further to tell you about some of the issues that come to my mind after viewing this picture in flicker. Have a look, you might also think a lot after looking at the picture. Look at the tatto on the back of this crazy canadian girl. Might be she unaware of this symbol, what it is meant for most of Indians. That symbol is a mystical or sacred syllable in the Hindu, Jain and Buddhist religions. Many guys commented on the picture also. Might be this girl is unaware of the threat she might face from Hindu leaders or the Hindu societies. If anyone of the members find this, they might create an issue. Or she might face a critisism from most of the news channels, as they got a news that people love to she. They can create this as a big issue and that may help them to improve their TRP. As its a sacred symbol for most of the religions in Indian sub-continent, so most of the people from her...
