Every Date is a Blind Date

In the film Bringing Down the House, Steve Martin plays a lawyer who meets a woman on an online dating site. After a few weeks of chatting, they decide to meet. Steve prepares everything for the occasion. When the woman arrives, she turns out to be a completely different person. She is nothing like the woman in the picture that was sent to him. That is the catch of the meeting someone on an online dating site. A picture and a profile can say one thing, but the person in general can be someone quite different.

Though many people can go through a mistaken identity case, it may be a tough job keeping up a good profile. Some people feels it is now more difficult for a person to hide aspects of themselves on internet. There are so many ways of finding out about a person. Earlier people used to send you only a picture, but now you have web-cams and people can surely see the person they are chatting with. You also have voice chat and when you are having a spontaneous conversation; it would be very hard for the other person to really think twice before answering. Sooner or later his true personality will emerge.

But their might be chance that a person meets someone who turns out to be a completely different from his/her profile, it just means that a mistake was made. You may have been unlucky. It doesn't mean the system is wrong. There are people who met online and get married.
I also remember one incident in which a person from Lucknow met a Japanese girl online and get married with her. But before they met each other they promised each other that they learn their languages and know thier traditions as well. After all of this the Japanese girl arrived Lucknow with her parents and some relatives and then she married with the Lucknow guy in his tradition wedding custom.

One of mine friend who met someone on a wedding site. Though his profile and description was factually correct, he turned out to be someone completely different in person. His profile and his real persona were two different stories. So this might go either way, it's all your luck.

These days social networking sites also plays an important role in making online freinds. Even I had many online friends. Each day I heard or read that their are people who dated people abroad and they have came down to India just to meet their respective partners. As I am a member of yahoo group where an American want to marry a Philipine girl, and they both met online in the very same group.

These days people spent many hours on these sites to meet people of opposte sex. It may happen for a sort period of time If you meet your partner in person, and he turns out to be someone completely different, it should be taken with a pinch of salt. If one thing goes wrong, it doesn't mean the whole system is wrong.

Whatever may be your case or experience, despite the flip side, online dating is still very much in vogue - as the heart always yearns for that small adventure.

DREAM DATE: Online dating sites are not always the answer to real love.

Although China was not able to gain any strategic advantage after the war. Hence China keeps on waiting or rather creating these small issues to take advantage out of them.
