Noynoy : First Bachelor Phillippines President

When President-Elect Benigno S. Aquino III, populary known as Noynoy, put his left hand on the Holy Bible and lifted his right hand to swear, to take the oath of office as the 15th President of the Republic of the Philippines. Moreover he became the first Bachelor president of Phillippines.

He got an overwhelming mandate in the May 10 polls, President-elect Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III will go down in history as the country's first bachelor president.
"Living in it by myself will be too big. It will just emphasize my being alone. I'll rent some place siguro, some condominium," Aquino said.
Viel Aquino-Dee, Aquino's sister, earlier said that her brother is better off having a wife.
This, she said, will make Aquino less dependent on his sisters.

Sounds good for everyone, right? But according to Dee, getting married is low on Aquino's current priorities.
"Sorry to Shalani, but low priority yata iyon (marriage) sa kanya," Dee said.
Aquino will become the Philippines' first bachelor leader but there is speculation about a presidential palace wedding in this former US colony where the First Lady traditionally has a high public profile.

He appeared on stage at his final election campaign rally with his girlfriend, Shalani Soledad, 30, a publicity-shy town councilor in a Manila suburb.

Same Bachelor fundas exists here too. Every Bachelor, when he is popular their is a lady name which is going to be attached with his name.

Why this happens everytime, is it true that a bachelor word is just to make more impression on the crowd who is following you, or something else. Or is it true that these high profile politicians or VIP's are Gay :O Draw out whatever speculations one want to. But living a Bachelor's Life is fun as correctly said by the president himself :
"Living in it by myself will be too big. It will just emphasize my being alone. I'll rent some place siguro, some condominium,"
What people think let them think..Move aheah and show them that a bachelor's life is much better than a unhappy married life.
