Opening for software developer at SAP Labs India, Bangalore

There is an opening for a software developer in the DNA (Design of New
Applications) team at SAP Labs India. The position is based out of
Bangalore and requires the candidate to have strong a programming
background (any technology) and work experience between 2 to 4 years related to SAP (preferred, go through the JD for details).

Job Specifications :
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Design and New Applications(DNA) – DNA is an integral part of Technology and
Innovation Platform Board area, building next generation platform and apps in the
areas of In-Memory technology and Device Mobility. To gain the next generation
customer, DNA focuses on building realistic applications for customers on the In-
Memory platform and Device Mobility.
In order to support cutting edge development work, we are establishing a new team
in SAP Labs India.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Strong SAP Technical background
Strong programming knowledge.
Ability to move to newer programming paradigms and frameworks
Functional competency in analytical thinking and problem solving
Good written and spoken English
Good presentation and communication skills
Proven organizational skills
Willingness to learn new skills
Organizing ability, ability to work as part of a team.
Change and innovate into new directions, when required.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The objective of the job is to work in the DNA team part of the Technology and
Innovation Platform SAP Labs India. The responsibility would comprise of
developing customer critical application in In-Memory technologies and Device
Mobility. Tasks will comprise
􀁸 Develop next gen applications for customers
􀁸 Interface with customers and understand the requirements.
􀁸 Build a detailed blue print of the applications built for customer’s as reference
for customer’s and SAP.
􀁸 Innovate with new concepts and lead customers into the next gen
technologies as proposed by DNA org.
WORK EXPERIENCE
o We are looking for a developer agile enough to work in cutting edge
technologies and frameworks. At least 2-4 years of SAP experience is
required.
