Job Description:

Seeking a Software Development Engineer with a strong software development background, preferably in mechanical, automotive, aerospace, or civil engineering, to develop applications in the CAE domain. SIMULIA is a leading Dassault Systemes Brand catering to applications in Realistic Simulation area. Some of the leading products of SIMULIA Brand are Abaqus, Isight, SolidWorks Simulation, CATIA Analysis etc. For more information visit www.simulia.com.

The primary responsibility of this position is the design and development of preprocessor and post processor functionalities. Other responsibilities include maintenance of existing functionality and unit testing. The candidate will also be required to interact with internal clients to gather requirements for new functionality. The successful candidate will be provided training in the usage of the CAE applications and the development environment.

 

Requirements:  Qualified candidates should have an Engineering degree with prior experience of 2 to 5 years in software development. A demonstrated proficiency with C/C++ programming is required. Knowledge of CAE tools / applications is an advantage. Very good spoken and written communication skills in English are essential. Candidates with a BE degree and an exceptional track record can also be considered.
