About the Role:
 
McAfee is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Program Manager.  The Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects of software development programs. Will lead the project team in the planning and development of project schedules, critical milestones, processes, and project reviews. Responsible for oversight, implementation, and delivery of the company's process improvement and special projects.  Involves extensive interfacing within the organization and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop collaborative working relationships.

3.  Issues/Risk management and tracking

·         Clear understanding of complete schedule
·         Driving milestone dates
·         Manage changes and impact
5.  Good comprehension requirements and technical implementation
6.  Ensuring good teamwork w/in the teams and w/all levels of organization
 
Required Experience/Skills & Education:
  • 5+ years as a Program Manager in a software development environment
  • 4 yr degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred
  • Intimate knowledge of Program management tools and procedures
  • Good working understanding of standard software development life cycles
  • People management skills including conflict resolution and negotiation
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Ability to set priorities and make decisions
  • Ability to delegate and work collaboratively
  • Good Presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead multi-functional teams
